3 Products The List Maven Can’t Live Without
One of the perks of being The List Maven is that I get to test out some cool products and report the findings to you. Even so, there are a few items I’d have a hard time parting with. When it comes to makeup, I swear by the following:
1. My Lauren Hutton Face Disc - As a forty something it’s hard for me to find age-appropriate makeup that doesn’t make me feel clownish. Lauren Hutton packaged up a bunch of the goodies everyone over 30 needs, but won’t admit. In addition to eye liner, lip balm, concealer and blush, the Face Disc has different powders for concealing wrinkles, minimizing shadows and more. I tried the Lauren Hutton face disc two years ago and continue to use it. I haven’t run out yet, but if I need refills of anything, I can order it from the Lauren Hutton website.
2. Lauren Hutton Lip Click in Peach - Once again, the Lauren Hutton collection gets it right. It’s very rare I find a lipstick I feel is perfect for my skin tone and coloring. Usually they’re too dark or too bright. This one is just perfect. Lauren Hutton and her people seem to know exactly what women my age need.
3. Bare Minerals Foundation - I received the Bare Minerals makeup as a gift - one of those Kris Kringle things at a women’s club I belong to. I wasn’t sure what to think, but I love it. Unlike regular liquid foundation, I feel like my skin can breathe. It doesn’t feel heavy and best of all I don’t get one of those color lines where my chin meets my neck.

yeah, i can’t live without my bare minerals. i go crazy when i forget my bag with minerals at home.
