3 Tips for "Dry Cleaning" Your Hair
Did you know you can wash your hair when it’s dry? Well, not in the traditional sense. You can’t use water or shampoo, but there are ways of getting your hair clean even when you’re no where near a shower. Check it out:
1. I was talking to my sister about dry cleaning hair and she told me if you’re in a situation where you can’t get to water and shampoo, take some talcum or baby powder and dust it into your hair and brush out. The powder will absorb the oils and dirt, freshening your hair until you can have good wash.
2. While researching dry washes online, I found these tips for dry shampooing at essortment. Again, salts or powders are used to “dry wash” hair.
3. Here’s a great product I had the pleasure of testing out. Shampowder is a dry shampoo you can carry in your purse to use if you find yourself in need of a hair washing but can’t do it in the traditional sense. And you know what? It really works! Shampowder is made by Buttercream Cosmetics and if you don’t already have a tube in your pure, I recommend you do so! I can’t tell you how easy it is to use and how great it makes your hair feel.
