5 Tips for Taking a Bath
It seems simple enough. Fill tub with water, get in tub, relax, right? In doing my research however, I found several tips for making the most of your bath. Behold, The List Maven’s 5 Tips for Taking a Bath.
- Though very warm water feels great when soaking, water that’s either too hot or too cold will dry out skin. It’s best to relax in a warm bath.
- Aroma therapy oils in the tub will leave you feeling as if you had a spa treatment.
- Read all labels carefully. Never use dish or hand soap or even shampoo as a bubble bath as you run the risk of contracting a yeast infection. Use bubbles specially formulated for an adult bath.
- It looks romantic and luxurious when you see it on television, but it’s best to stay away from alcohol when bathing as it causes dehydration.
- A little baby oil in your bath water will leave your skin feeling smooth and silky!
