8 Reasons The List Maven Approves of the SPIbelt
Here’s a cool new product, the SPIbelt. SPI stands for Small Personal Items and the belt carries, well, your small personal items. It’s a great accessory one joggers, walkers and people like me who don’t like to carry purses all the time. Unlike a fanny pack, it’s not big and dorky looking. The SPI belt is just that, a belt with a small pouch for holding iPod, keys, money or lip balm. Why should you own one?
- The SPIbelt is light so it won’t interfere with your exercise ritual. It doesn’t bounce, ride up or otherwise get in the way.
- It’s just the right size for clubbing - you can dance without your purse getting in the way.
- It holds just the essentials.
- It’s inexpensive - only $19.99.
- The SPIbelt is water resistant so if you’re caught in the rain you won’t end up with soggy bills or a ruined Blackberry.
- The SPIbelt is washable.
- The SPIbelt comes in many different colors.
- $1 of every SPIbelt purchase is donated to Triabetes.
I received my SPIbelt last week and I love it. I use it for my long morning dog walk to carry my keys, cellphone, ID and iPod. It’s truly a cool product - and depending on what you’re wearing, no one even has to see it!

“Unlike a fanny pack, it’s not big and dorky looking.” You’re right it doesn’t. I like that there’s several colors you can choose from.

Thanks for the post Deborah!
Just want to clarify; $1 of each Black Belt with the Orange Zipper is donated to http://www.Triabetes.org
One of their members had this to say about usine his SPIbelt for his glucose meter:
“My SPIbelt has become one of my best friends. I mean seriously, what do I need in a friend? Someone who will always be there when times (and blood sugars) get low and someone who is pretty comfortable to be around. SPIbelt easily fits that description. I wear it on rides and runs to carry my glucose meter, gel, and car key (its kind of elastic, so basically everything fits nicely). On the bike its much easier to have the SPIbelt on rather than keep the stuff in my rear pocket because I can swing the SPIbelt around, sit up on the bike while riding, check my sugar, put everything back easily, and keep going. While running, the SPIbelt is a No-Brainer. Light and comfortable is the way to go - there is no easier way to carry a glucose meter. Thank you, SPIbelt! You have one great product.”
