HGTV’s Kim Myles Designs Compact For e.l.f. Cosmetics: In Which This List Maven Offers One More Giveaway

I’m saddened to inform you this is my last week as your List Maven. I do love this blog and all the perks that come with it, but I’ve been offered a great opportunity and I’d be a fool to pass it up. This week will go by in a frenzy of product reviews and tips, and this, one last contest.

Kim Myles, from HGTV’s Myles of Style, created her own compact with e.l.f. cosmetics. The “Kim-Pact” is available for $5 at the e.l.f. Cosmetics website, $8 if you include the brushes.. ( I love how reasonably priced the e.l.f. line is!). Each Kim-Pact contains:

There are two contests going on here. The first is that e.l.f. Cosmetics is also offering a trip to the finale of Myles of Style in Nashville, Tennessee for two. Prize includes round trip airfare, two nights double occupancy hotel accommodations and access to a rental car. No purchase is necessary to enter.     I’m sure this will get me disqualified, but I TRIED to place an order with e.l.f.. After OVER a MONTH of being told the order would ship soon, I canceled my order. I wish I could tell you what my favorite items are, but I never got a chance to try them!

    I like the bath sets. Great scents and great price at only $10. I love the train cases. You can use a train case for any number of things. And they also sell gift cards which makes it easy to gift someone if you’re not sure what the person might like.

    I have a sixteen year old daughter that came home one day with a little tin of lip gloss that she wanted permission to purchase with a friend of hers the next time her mother placed an order. I told her yes, no big deal. It is only lip gloss. The order arrives and my daughter walks in with a couple of tins. She gives me one (cherry bomb)and I’m thinking, it’s lip gloss(not a fan of lip gloss). When my husband came home and wouldn’t stop kissing me because I tasted so good was when I realized why my daughter wanted these tins. I now order my own and my daughter is limited to one tin every six months (because it is only lip gloss). We also love the cucumber melon hand soap and hand cream. We first loved this scent when my sister had her third baby and she was using Huggies baby wipes in a cucumber scent when changing the baby. They smell so good and they are so refreshing that we use huggies baby wipes ourselves. We use the nail polishes and our favorites are pearl pink & dark red. We also use the white eye pencil so our eyes look wide and alert even with four hours of sleep. My daughter loves the makeup removal pads. She purchases all her friends b-day gifts from this site and makes cute little baskets for them. The prices makes all this possible because my daughter has lots of friends.

    I have tried quite a few of the ELF products and love all of them, and I really love the fact they are good quality products with out the expensive cost attached like most that dont work as well, some of the ones I love and use daily is the blush, and the pink lemonade color stick that is great for an all over glow & the lip glosses are yummy, thanks for the contest and great prizes I would love to win…

    Deb, Good luck with your other ventures.

    I like the Mineral starter kits, especially the warm.
    I also like their cases, the train look roomy, the holiday are pretty, but I wish they showed the inside view.
    The Kim pact is really a neat kit especially if you need to carry small.

    I love ELF Products, especially being a mommy of 3. The products are prices within my range and the quality is great. I absolutely love any and all of the mineral products. I was nervous about purchasing them at first as I had seen the prices of other leading mineral makeups, and thought maybe this was just too cheap. Nope I was wrong and so glad that I decided to buy and try anyway. Now I’m addicted.

    I’ve purchased a couple of times from elf. I love their false eyelashes and their concealer. My daughter thinks that their lipgloss/plumper is the bomb!

    Needless to say this prize would be well appreciated in our house!

    I’m always looking for a smooth Liquid Liner so I’d love to try theirs. I also think that nothing beats having the right tools so their 12pc. Professional Brush set also makes my top three. I also like their Brightening Eye Color in Matte Mauve.

    I’m sorry I haven’t tried any of these products yet, but I’d like to. That all over color looks cool so I’d like to try that …seems great for summer! I’d also like to try the radiant blush, the bronzing powder and the shimmering facial whip! Oh, I could use some brushes too! At these prices I should give them all a try!

    I never used there products before but I will list the ones that I would love to try. The Candy Shop Lip Tins look super cute! I also love the looks of the Vanilla Coconut Bath set. The Neutral nail polish set is something I would like to get as well. I hope your new opportunity brings great things.

    I love the Cucumber Melon Aromatherapy stuff - especially the Hand/body lotion and the bath gel. The candy shop lip tins are a fantastic stocking stuffer. I like the ability to have my own specialized beauty profile where based on my profile , they provide recommendations. I love their products and have never had a problem ordering from them. Very reasonably priced.

    I love their Super Glossy Lip Shine in pink kiss, Nail Polish in plum, and their Shimmering Facial Whip. Basically, their products are the most inexpensive on the market, but not cheaply made at all - they are a godsend!

    I’ve tried many of the products because my daughter has many of them. The eyeliner the liquid lipstick and the facial whip products. They were very nice going on and no skin irritation. The price was right and the things were easy to find. The eye shadows looked very nice with several of my outfits.

    Wow! I can’t believe how little this makeup costs. I like the luscious liquid lipstick, the ivy eyeshadow palette, and the $25 Holiday Set. Amazing!

    How funny, I never knew that E.L.F. stood for eyes, lips and face. Where have I been? My personal favorites are the false lashes. My lashes are just too thin and light. Of course, I do like the Earth and Water Mascara Duo, but falsies are nice when I go out for a fun night. Lastly, you need to finish the eyes off with the Butter Pecan Duo Eye Shadow cream.

    I’ve never tried any ELF products, but would like to! I was surprised to see that they sell many different kinds of make up and beauty products. The facial whip looks really nice and I also like the lipgloss tins. That reminds me of being a teen because the cool thing then was lip gloss in tins! I like that this makeup is affordable, so many brands are totally overpriced!

    I have bought so much from e.l.f. I love their hydrotint and their mineral makeup I really covers me for so much less money. I also loved their little mirror compact. I love all their lipgloss and I can afford to get one in every color. Thanks.

    I just placed an order two weeks ago so I have not received product yet to comment but I ordered the plumping lip glosses and mineral eye shadows. I cant wait to get my order!!     I first tried ELF because my niece - who just turned 14 - wanted to try out makeup and I thought this would be a good brand for her to play with. Then, I had a date and forgot to take lipgloss. I had to drive by their house so I stopped to ask Macy if I could borrow her lipgloss and I loved it! So, I use their lipgloss, some eyeshadow and I’m going to try their mineral makeup since I buy Bare Minerals since it’s so expensive.

    Hi there! I have been using E.L.F. Products for over a year now. Not only do I love the prices, you can’t get this level of quality cosmetics cheaper anywhere, but the products are amazing and they work for me! I am happy to share my 3 favorite E.L.F. products that I could not live without. Perhaps those of you who have not tried E.L.F. before will want to test these first. 1) The Tone Correcting Concealer. It literally covers any dark circles or little breakouts that I may have on my face. 2) The Mineral Foundation. Love it because it has an SPF of 15 in it and it is 100% natural! 3) The Brightening Eye Liner. It’s unique Gel-Powder formula insures it glides on - no more tugging at your eyelids and ending up with the crooked line girls!! In terms of these 3 favs of mine, I won’t leave home without them on me and I encourage anyone who has not found the perfect concealer, foundation or eyeliner to give these shot! I would love to win some more E.L.F. products to add to my makeup bag! LASTLY, best of luck to you on your new job! I hope it brings you much personal and professional satisfaction and enjoyment!     Hi, the list maven! I like the blog entries, it’s sad that you’re leaving this but hey, great opportunities shouldn’t be passed up.

    I have an e.l.f. lip gloss and i absolutely love it! And I wish to have more of this products. Here are my picks:

    - Kim-pact, really. It’s complete!
    - Therapeutic Conditioning Balm. I like my lips moisturized.
    - Eye Widener. I love it when my eyes sparkle - I get lots of compliments. :)

    I like the easy pulldown menus for the site. It makes it easy to go to right what I’m looking for. Some of my favorite e.l.f. items are the hypershine lip gloss, the healthy glow bronzing powder and the shimmering facial whip!

    As a student e.l.f. really saves my wallet! I love the hypershine lip gloss, the shimmering facial whip is awesome and i’ve never used anything quite like it before. I also used the nail polish in Plum for practically the entire winter. I haven’t tried the Kim-Pact yet but I definitely want to– it shares my name :)!!

    I just purchased some items from E.L.F about a month ago. I like their hypershine glosses ( leaves your lips shiny all day). I also like their natural radiance blusher, I got mine in flushing and it matches my skin tone nice. Finally, their nail polish comes in pretty colors. The polish stays on nice and leaves your nails looking pretty and polish.

    I lov ethe “GEt the Look” neautral eye kit. I really need some simple instruction. I also like the look of the Clarifying Pressed Powder - I think this would give a fantastic finish. THe thing I love most is the Weekender Kit. Can you imagine all those great products for $34!

    A few of my favorite ELF products are their Liquid Eyeliner (LOVE IT!!!), Eyelash Curler (works like magic!) and their Coconut Vanilla Body Butter (YUMMY!). ELF is a great bargain!

    I forgot the most important thing about the e.l.f. cosmetics — the price! You can try many products for the price you would pay for one of the other brands!

    I would like to try the Simmering Facial Whip, the Hypershine Gloss, and Natural Radiance Blusher in Coy or Bronzed.
    I can’t believe how inexpensive this stuff is! Is that a mistake??

    I have never tried elf products ilike some of their makeup brushes and lipglosses they look nice to try plus their minerral kits look pretty good i would really like to try that

    i like the fair skin predesigned kit, the mineral started kit (never tried minerals before), and all over cover stick(havent tried that either)

    I like their philosophy that beauty comes from within
    I like their brightening eye colour in the Drama shade
    I also found it interesting to learn that To achieve a fuller lip, line the perimeter of the lips with the Lip Liner

    I have tried quite a few of the ELF products and love all of them, and I really love the fact they are good quality products with out the expensive cost attached like most that dont work as well, some of the ones I love and use daily is the blush, and the pink lemonade color stick that is great for an all over glow & the lip glosses are yummy, thanks for the contest and great prizes I would love to win…

    My favorite three items from e.l.f. are the Shielding Hydro-Tint SPF 15 because it would protect my face from sun damage and I have fair skin, the Nail Polish Set in Neutral colors, and the Candy Shop Lip Tins Berry Pop since I think it would feel so good on my lips.     My favorite products from E.L.F. are the makeup brushes because they do a fairly decent job for much less. I am also currently using the eyeliner, which glides on well, and the lip gloss is also good.
