My Saddest List Ever: 3 Reasons This List Maven is Saying Goodbye

Well beauty buffs, it’s been a great ride, one I wish I could stay on a while longer. This blog has been fun on so many levels  - it’s just too long to list. Unfortunately, it’s time for me to say goodbye. You will have a new, well-qualified replacement very soon. In the mean time I give you my list of why I must be going:

1. I have a new full time job - As the new Community Manager for BlogTalkRadio, A 40+ work week doesn’t leave me much time for listing beauty tips and product reviews. I thought I could do it, but I can’t.
2. I want to spend more time with my family - If I stay at b5Media (a place very dear to my heart) it will leave me with less time on the weekend for spending time with my family. Today we went fishing and swam in our backyard swimming pool, something I gave up previous summers as I blogged.
3. I want to pay more attention to my personal projects - I have a food blog and a freelance writing blog and a couple others. They’ve been languishing as I fulfilled my network and client obligations. With my personal stuff I can blog without pressure and not feel guilty for missing a day.

It breaks my heart to leave this blog, but I think it’s best for all concerned. I wish much luck to my replacement, and much love to you for being so loyal.
